The rain tapped against the giant window, half colourful for enid's side and half transparent for Wednesday's. Wednesday's pale, slender fingers tapped against the typewriter keys with experience and resolve. New murders had been popping around recently. The victims were skinned expertly, their remains were either partially consumed or discarded in any random ditch. She was listing suspects, but the year just started, she didnt have many leads. The only hint was that the skin disappeared along with the killer.
Along with uncle Fester, Wednesday had managed to cure Enid of her permanent wolfing out and turned her back to a human, she was now back at school, and Eugene stopped worrying about his crush. Wednesday's brother had almost died last year becoming a power source for Tyler's de-hyde-ification, but she saved him, freed Tyler mercifully and indirectly killed isaac, a mad scientist, and tyler's mom, another hyde. Tyler is now still on the loose, and she had no idea where he was. Moreover, a new principal came into Nevermore after the discovered corruption of the last one
There were rumors about a new kid who joined too. One who used to live among humans, and just recently found out he was an outcast. "Problematic", apparently. She wasnt eager to get to know them, she would rather stay with Thing on her typewriter, cataloguing suspects for the new murders. Though then again, she knew nothing about him, nothing about his powers or personality, he could be the murderer and she wouldnt let her anti-social personality get in the way of solving a good mystery. No matter what, she had to find this killer and Tyler to see if there was a bigger picture in what was really going on
She got up. She'd gave to interrogate them. The new kid might have been the killer. Unfortunately, her friends were busy with her uncle Fester curing Enid of her permanent wolfing-out. She wanted to tag along. Her uncle told her no. It was too dangerous, and if she came or tried to come secretly, he wouldnt cure her. Her pride was wounded but, she needed him, so she let them be. They'll be back soon. For now, she would have to go find the new kid and go interrogate him
