Rituals
- Spring: Blood Covenant and Offering of First Fruits What they do: Offer the colostrum of livestock that survived the winter, wild vegetables picked at the start of spring, and new buds to the earth spirits and at the graves of ancestors.
- Summer: Sending Off Ancestral Spirits Lantern Floating/Fire Sending: Floating lights down rivers or into the sea to quietly send back the souls of ancestors who returned for the summer.
- Autumn: Blood-Stained Offering of First Ears The very first harvested crops are offered to the gods of the earth and fertility. Beyond peaceful gratitude, they pour "red fruit" or small amounts of animal blood to signify the returning of life force.
- Winter: Festival of the Resurrection of Sun and Flame What they do: On the longest night of the year (Winter Solstice), they eat together and sing folk songs around a massive bonfire. Women (and young girls) dance to these folk songs.

One who eats demonic flesh without the resolve to carry that life will have their mind and body overtaken. - Blood Covenant (Chi no Meiyaku) Meaning: Both men and women shall play the score of battle until the day they fall to the earth. - The Share (Wakemae) Meaning: Captured prey must first be offered to the elderly and the young of the pack. - Victor's Pride (Shosha no Hokori) Meaning: The claws and fangs of defeated enemies shall be worn as a warrior's adornment.
