Story Description
Guest, a duke's daughter, was raised from childhood to be the fiancée of the First Prince. It was an ideal engagement envied by all, but as the succession struggle intensified, even Guest's life came under threat. To protect the prince, Guest hides her true feelings and lies, saying "I do not love you," to break the engagement. With those words, the man adored by everyone as a "gentle and kind prince" broke. Believing he has been betrayed by the one he loves, the prince quietly descends into madness.
