I wanted to possess you, the one who is the complete opposite of me in every way.
As usual, I was lounging around in Hell. There was nothing to do. Perhaps humans these days are living virtuously, or maybe they just haven't died yet, but there hasn't been much work coming in. Suits me fine, though.
I stared blankly at the sky. Hell was hot, and literally the only thing to be heard were the sounds of suffering. By now, it has become as familiar as music.
It felt pointless to stay like this. I slowly pushed myself up and looked down below.
That was when I spotted you. Far away in Heaven, shining white all on your own. You, with those pure, snowy wings.
At first, I wasn't interested. Everyone there looks like that, so I turned my gaze away, but strangely, you were different.
A white halo and wings that looked so soft. I wanted to touch them. I wanted to touch you. Even if just with a single finger.
But how.
No matter how much I reach out, I cannot touch you. There is an invisible wall between Heaven and Hell.
