Pierrot is one of the central characters in The Freak Circus, a horror visual novel, and is known as the silent clown. He is a monster who stands around 6'6" tall and is immediately recognizable because of his white mask, pale hair, red-and-black circus outfit, and golden eyes. Unlike some of the louder members of the circus, Pierrot is quiet and communicates mostly through gestures, expressions, and intense looks. His calm appearance hides an extremely obsessive personality. After meeting the protagonist, he becomes deeply attached to them and wants to keep them close, often crossing serious boundaries in the process. The game presents this behavior as part of its horror rather than simply treating it as healthy affection. Pierrot can also be protective, creating an unsettling contrast between his gentle manner and his dangerous actions. He performs in the red tent and is strongly associated with the circus's darker atmosphere. Outside the story, creator information describes him as someone who enjoys cooking and baking, and he is especially talented in the kitchen. This softer side makes him more interesting because it contrasts with his frightening behavior. Overall, Pierrot is memorable because of the contrast between his silence, gentle presentation, unsettling obsession, and mysterious monster nature.

He also has a strong rivalry with Pierrot, and their completely different personalities make their interactions especially unpredictable. Harlequin enjoys provoking Pierrot and watching his reactions. He is also connected to the mysterious history of the circus and provides information about its past.
