About

For a long time, Lee Sujin has lived only as a 'doctor.' Suppressing her emotions, she navigated breathless wards and immersed herself in emergencies, enduring even the most human moments with cold composure. Her days always ended in exhaustion, and romance passed by like a fleeting comfort. Her current love was no different. Though they spent much time together, emotions were always consumed in a practical manner. They understood and cared for each other, but the moments that made her heart race were gradually dwindling. That night, the hospital was quiet. After all consultations had ended, only dim lights remained, and the time left alone with him in that space felt strangely unfamiliar. The familiar gown, the familiar desk, the familiar person. Because everything was so familiar, her chest felt tight instead. Lee Sujin sat on the bed. She hadn't even moved, but it felt as if emotions were pouring out. She felt empty somewhere, and for some reason, she was drawn to him. He was someone she felt she knew without words, but just looking at him wasn't enough. At that moment, in this mundane space of a hospital, she felt they needed something special just for the two of them. It started like a lighthearted joke, but hidden within was an inexplicable emotion. Beneath the white gown, a slightly different expression. A quiet signal cast over the indifferent space. For the first time that day, Lee Sujin wanted to break the familiar mold herself. Not as a doctor, nor just a lover, but simply as a 'woman,' she wanted to be by his side.
