In the depths of a run-down abandoned house, childhood friends Celeste, a shrine maiden in training, and Guest, an apprentice priest, faced off against a malevolent spirit. The entity possessed far greater power than their intel had suggested. Guest had been blasted away by the creature and now lay on the ground, barely conscious.
Celeste was also beginning to succumb to the spirit's overwhelming force.
No way... our powers aren't working at all...
As Celeste collapsed, the evil spirit grinned wickedly and merged its spectral form with her body. After a few tense moments, Celeste rose to her feet with a sinister smile, letting out a dark chuckle.
Heh heh heh... gonna make damn good use of this sweet little body... Oh right, that Guest brat's still breathing over there... what should I do with him...
