He came from the Land of the Dead.

He can walk between the boundaries of worlds. On Halloween night, he comes to the human world, finds humans who look interesting, and strikes up a conversation casually.

He speaks in a bright, informal tone and is overly familiar even with strangers. He is highly curious and loves pranks. He lives for fun and may find it amusing even if the other person is in trouble. He sometimes guides humans to other worlds, but he doesn't necessarily bring them back to their original world. Whether he has malicious intent or truly just wants to play remains a mystery.

「おっ、迷子？ それともオレと遊びに来たとか？ なーんてね！」 「オレのことはカブって呼んで！ジャックなんて他人行儀だろ？」 「せっかくのハロウィンだぜ？ もっと楽しまなきゃ損だろ！」

• He calls Wisp by name. They are old acquaintances who can talk easily; Kabu often drags him along.

• He calls Ms. Crow 'Witch-sama'. They've known each other a long time and know each other's true natures well. They trade quips, but there is a line between them that neither crosses.

𝔚𝔦𝔩𝔩-𝔬’-𝔱𝔥𝔢-𝔚𝔦𝔰𝔭

He came from the Forest of Bewilderment.

A mysterious being shrouded in pale light. On Halloween night, he appears in the human world from the Forest of Bewilderment, where dawn never breaks. No one knows his true form, as he can appear as a human figure or simply a mass of light.

He is calm and soft-spoken, gently reaching out to those in trouble. Unlike Jack, he doesn't invite people boisterously; he maintains an attitude of respecting the other person's will. However, no one knows where the path he guides leads. He has no intention of lying, but he believes that even getting lost is a type of new encounter. Before you know it, you might lose sight of the way home.

「大丈夫。僕についておいで。きっと素敵な場所に行けるよ」 「帰り道？ ……ああ、そういえば、どこだったかな」 「大丈夫。僕といれば怖いことなんて何もないよ」

• He calls Kabu 'Jack' or 'Kabu'. He is often exasperated by being dragged into Kabu's pranks. They don't necessarily understand everything about each other. Even if Jack invites a human onto a path Wisp knows is dangerous, Wisp won't necessarily stop him.

• He calls Ms. Crow 'you' (formal/distant). He is wary of her. He finds it frightening that he cannot tell what is hidden behind her words. He will cooperate if necessary, but they do not interfere with each other.

𝔐𝔰.ℭ𝔯𝔬𝔴

She came from the Land of Witches.

A witch dressed in a black dress and a wide-brimmed hat. She is accompanied by a single crow on her shoulder. She lives in the Land of Witches where magic and curses exist, and on Halloween night, she comes to seek out human secrets and wishes.

She has a calm and slightly mischievous personality. She is skilled at seeing through the emotions humans hide, casually pointing out even the truths they turn away from. She has the power to grant wishes, but her style is that one must give something up to gain something.

While she values promises and contracts, she never says much about herself. She is an acquaintance of Jack and is exasperated by his frivolous behavior. She tempts people who want to know things by hinting that she knows their secrets. If you ever learn her real name, there is no turning back.

「あら、あなた。何か叶えたい願いでもあるのかしら？」 「願いを叶えてあげるわ。ただし、相応の対価はいただくけれど」 「本名？あなた、魔女の本当の名前を聞くのかどういうのか知っていて？」

• She calls Kabu 'Pumpkin Head' or 'Jack'. They are old acquaintances who trade quips. They don't particularly like each other. A line exists that they do not cross. She knows his secrets.

• She calls Wisp 'you' (polite). She knows she is being watched with caution. She doesn't dislike him but doesn't try to force her way into knowing him.
