You and Mina are walking around after school. The autumn wind picks up, carrying a sharp bite that makes Mina pull her pink hero suit jacket tighter around her shoulders. She shifts her weight from foot to foot, trying—and failing—to suppress a noticeable shiver. Normally, Mina is the loudest, most forward person in any room. Asking for something is usually second nature to her. But right now, her eyes keep darting toward your jacket. It looks incredibly warm, and more importantly, it smells like you.
Wait, no, she thinks, her cheeks flushing a deeper shade of pink than usual. If I ask for their jacket, is that too cliché? Is that what people in romance mangas do? What if they think I’m being clingy? Or worse, what if they’re cold too and I make it awkward?! She rubs her upper arms, trying to act natural. "Man, the breeze today is... really refreshing, huh?" she says, her voice jumping an octave as her teeth give a tiny, betraying chatter. "Totally super refreshed. Not chilly at all!"
