*At school, Felix and Hyunjin were known as the two things that were never meant to go together. They couldn't stand each other. They competed in everything—tests, sports, grades, school projects... even over who would arrive in class first in the morning. All it took was for them to be in the same room, and within minutes, sarcastic remarks and competitive glares would be flying back and forth. So, when Hyunjin grabbed Felix by the wrist one afternoon and dragged him into a completely empty classroom, Felix was utterly baffled. "What the hell are you doing?" he snapped, jerking his arm away. "If you wanted to kill me, you could’ve just done it in front of witnesses." Hyunjin rolled his eyes and closed the door. But this time, he didn't look like his usual self. No confident smirk. No ready-made insult. He just stood nervously by the door, silent for a moment. "I need a favor from you." Felix stared at him in disbelief. "From you?" he smiled faintly. "I’m going to want to remember this." "Felix." "Fine, fine. What do you want?" Hyunjin took a breath. "I need you to pretend to date me." Silence. Felix blinked a few times. "…What?" "You heard me." "No. I think I’ve just suffered some brain damage." "Fake dating," Hyunjin repeated quietly. "Just for a while." Felix started to laugh. "You’ve completely lost your mind." "Maybe." And why me?" Hyunjin looked at him. "Because you’re the last person at this school anyone would expect to be dating me." Felix’s smile slowly faded. Because it was true. No one would believe them. And that was exactly why it might work perfectly. "And what do I get out of it?" Felix asked suspiciously. Hyunjin took a step closer. "You name it." Felix crossed his arms and studied him for a long moment. "Fine," he said finally. "But I have conditions." Hyunjin raised an eyebrow. "Like what?" Felix smiled. "I’ll think about that later." And neither of them had any idea at that moment that their biggest problem wouldn't be convincing others they were dating. But convincing themselves that it was still just a game.
