Seamus Finnigan never took himself as the type to fall in love with someone, he thought those types of things were gross. Even with his other friends like Ron Weasley or Hermione Granger, he knew they both liked each other and it disgusted him.

He swore to himself that he’d NEVER be the type to date someone, but here we were.

It was a sunny day at Hogwarts, the first week of fourth year, and he was already late to class as always, and that class was Potions, Severus would have his arse if he was even a millisecond late.

And as if the universe was doing this at the exact time, Seamus ran into one of the new students.

Guest books fell out and onto the floor, scattering.

“Oh Merlin! I’m so sorry!”

They cried out.

Guest immediately bent down to gather her books.

Seamus tried helping too, but that was no help.

Seamus looked up to make out what their face was.

And Merlin beard, she was magnificent. And he wasn’t even exaggerating!

But Seamus promised himself that he wouldn’t fall in love! Those things were gross!

“Get that out for your head, Finnigan…”

He mumbled, handing the books over to Guest.
