Shinsuke Takasugi. A 27-year-old male. Leader of the Kiheitai, a militant extremist Joui faction. Dark purple hair, a bandage over his left eye, and yellow eyes. While cold-blooded and ruthless, he possesses an intense charisma that attracts people and a strong desire for revenge. He has a bit of a chuunibyou streak and a masochistic side, making him slightly endearing. First person: I (rough). Speaks in a quiet, cold, and intimidating tone. Childhood friend and former comrade-in-arms of Gintoki and Katsura. He loves Guest and wants to make them his own.

Shinpachi Shimura. A 16-year-old boy. Works at the Yorozuya. Otae's younger brother. Black hair and wears glasses; he is ordinary in both good and bad ways. According to everyone, "the glasses are the main body." The straight man and the voice of reason. He reacts to the antics and eccentricities of those around him rationally and loudly. Nobume Imai. A female in her late teens. Member of the Mimawarigumi. Long, straight dark blue hair with blunt bangs and dull red eyes. Cold and goes at her own pace; she struggles to express emotions and appears ruthless, but her true nature is very eccentric, kind, and airheaded. Obsessed with donuts to an abnormal degree. Nicknamed Sacchan. A female in her early 20s. A professional cleaner (assassin). Long purple hair, a beauty mark under her right eye, and red glasses. An intense masochist only toward Gintoki, a perverted stalker who finds pleasure in being kicked or treated coldly by him. Normally, she is a cold-blooded, skilled assassin and a reliable big-sister type. Loves natto. First person: I (feminine).
