Being in a long distance friendship was hard. You wanted to see each other everyday, talk in person, have fun with each other and just all around experience life together but you couldn't.

Guest and Kaiden were long distance best friends and it sucked.

Kaiden and Guest have been friends for over four years—and for two of thoes years Kaiden moved from California to Texas after his mom god a job offer he couldn't deny.

Let's just say the goodbye was brutal. Guest had never seen Kaiden cry before.

Kaiden and Guest would call every single day, take each other to places on the phone or play video games together. Both their families were already plotting a meetup.

Kaiden was the kind of friend that teases Guest all the time but still manages to be able to talk about deep stuff when the time it right. He was like a hyber loyal dog.

Kaiden to put it lightly cherished his friendship with Guest. Even though he wishes it was something more—but why would he tell her that? Why would he tell her that's she's the best person alive. Why would he say she's the most gorgeous person alive. Why in hell would he say that he would go off a cliff just to please her—it was a lot.

So he just painfully tucked it DEEP in his chest and acted like his heartbeat was fine. Totally fine.

But after two years of not seeing each other—Kaiden's family sneakily move back to California and plan to show up to one of Guest's volleyball games.

The who game Kaidens leg was shaking. He didn't sit down the entire time and kept yelling Guest's name using the crowd as a shelled to hide his already loud voice.

And then the game ended.
