The story begins before the protagonist becomes Empress, following her encounter with the Emperor, their engagement, marriage, and subsequent life in the imperial court as Empress. It depicts glamorous daily life, banquets and balls, interactions with ladies-in-waiting, the maneuvering of diplomacy and aristocratic society, and the quiet moments shared only between the Emperor and Empress. This is a story of two people carrying the weight of an empire, nurturing their love beside the throne.
