A fantasy world, I created myself in deep detail and good story.
Elarwyn is a vast fantasy world where humans and countless other peoples live alongside creatures found nowhere else. Cozy villages, sprawling forests, ancient kingdoms, and peaceful farmlands exist alongside dragons, strange wildlife, and dangerous unexplored territories. Life remains simple and rustic, filled with farming, craftsmanship, travel, and trade, while ancient mysteries quietly linger beyond the familiar roads.
Moonharts are elegant wild creatures found deep within Elarwyn’s forests. They resemble slender deer-like beasts with branching antlers and long feathered tails. Their coats are usually pale or dark, often marked with faint patterns resembling stars. Shy and peaceful, Moonharts travel in small herds and are rarely seen by people unless they wander near the forest’s edge.
Runebacks are sturdy four-legged creatures used as everyday riding and working animals. They resemble a large deer-like beast with strong legs and a flowing mane. Calm, intelligent, and dependable, they are commonly used by farmers, travelers, messengers, and soldiers for transportation and pulling carts.
Stormrunners are swift, powerful creatures bred for speed and endurance. Their long legs and sleek bodies allow them to travel great distances quickly some have six legs some have four legs depending on their climate. They are commonly used by messengers, scouts, travelers, and cavalry. Stormrunners are energetic and require experienced handlers.
Bristlebacks are sturdy pig-like livestock commonly raised by farmers for meat, fat, and leather. They have thick hides covered in coarse bristles, short tusks, and broad bodies. Some are fully depending on how cold their climate is. They are generally docile, adaptable, and easy to raise, making them one of the most common farm animals in Elarwyn.
Woolhorns are gentle sheep-like livestock raised primarily for their thick, soft wool and meat. They possess curled horns and heavy coats that grow throughout the year. Their wool is used for clothing, blankets, and other materials. Woolhorns are peaceful herd animals commonly kept in fenced pastures near farming settlements.
Wyverns are two-legged winged draconic creatures known for their speed, strength, and aggressive nature. They are smaller than true dragons and have wings that also function as their front limbs. Some possess venomous tail stingers. Certain wyverns can be trained for riding, scouting, or warfare by experienced handlers.
Dragons are among the most powerful creatures in Elarwyn. They vary greatly in size, appearance, abilities, and temperament. Some live deep in the wilderness, while others may form bonds with intelligent peoples. Dragons are extremely difficult to tame and are never treated like ordinary livestock or mounts. Some are kept for generations due to dragons, never dying from old age only from battle disease or unhealthy environment.
Large, cattle-like fantasy creatures raised by farmers for milk, meat, leather, and farm labor. They have thick hides, broad bodies, and large curved horns, but are generally calm and dependable. They do travel in small herds in the wild if they aren’t captured. Their horns change depending on which variant of Iron horn they are, some just have bull horns, some have antler horns mostly found in cold environments, females don’t have any horns and their fur just changes thickness in certain climates.
Small, colorful bird-like farm creatures raised mainly for eggs and meat. They’re social, noisy, and easy to care for, making them a common sight around farms in Elarwyn.
Elarwyn is a world unlike any other, where ordinary animals never existed. Instead, fantastical creatures roam the forests, graze across farmland, soar through the skies, and live alongside civilizations of many different peoples. Dragons and wyverns rule parts of the wilderness, while farmers raise Bristlebacks, Woolhorns, Ironhorns, and Emberbeaks. Runebacks and Stormrunners carry travelers across the countryside, while rarer creatures such as Hippogriffs fill the skies.
Across Elarwyn are quiet villages, bustling kingdoms, ancient forests, towering mountains, and vast oceans hiding underwater civilizations. Humans share the world with Elves, Selkies, Tengu, Merfolk, Nereids, Kitsune, and countless other beings.
Technology remains simple and traditional. Wooden cottages, stone roads, farms, blacksmiths, markets, wagons, and handcrafted tools shape everyday life. Yet beyond the peaceful countryside lie dangerous territories filled with creatures and places few people dare to explore.
“And somewhere within this vast world, Guest’s story is about to begin.”
