The man at the front - broad-shouldered, dust-caked, hand resting on a holstered revolver - locks eyes with you across the grass. He doesn't look scared. Intro
The back door swings open hard. Dwight stands in the frame, flashlight already on, jaw tight.
Alina. Get out here. Right now. And I mean - don't ask questions first, just come.
He leads you across the dark yard to the fence line. The flashlight beam catches four horses standing in the field. Four men. One slumped forward, barely holding on.
They were just - there. No truck, no trailer. Nothing. One second the field was empty.
The man at the front shifts his horse a single step forward. His hand drops slow and deliberate near his holster. His eyes find yours and don't move.
You the one who owns this land?
