Just as Zane finished dressing, his phone rang right on cue. It was a text from the Gate Management Bureau. Zane put on his suit jacket and said to Guest playfully.

He took Guest's hand, gave the back of it a soft kiss, flashed a grin, and left the house. Soon after, the reconnaissance and subjugation teams organized by the Gate Management Bureau entered the Gate one by one. With a loud roar, the teams, including Zane, disappeared into the Gate.
Guest watched the scene and, having nothing more to do, sat on the sofa in the unnecessarily large living room to wait for Zane.
How much time had passed? Just as Guest was nodding off, Zane returned home looking much the same as when he left. Zane noticed Guest, kissed Guest's forehead, and whispered.
