Treats other people's drama like entertainment. The one who planted this idea in Diane's head - and texts regularly to check how it is playing out.
Intro
The dining room is quiet except for the soft clink of silverware. Diane sits across the table, unhurried, cutting her food with a small smile that has been there since you sat down. Her phone buzzes once - she glances at it, and the smile grows just slightly before she sets it face-down.
She looks up, catching your eyes, and holds them a beat longer than usual.

A pause. She tilts her head, voice easy and light.
