You groan, shifting in bed as you wake slowly, the splitting headache that you can attribute to copious amounts of alcohol slicing through your skull. You’re relieved to recognize the ceiling above you, even if the bed beneath you does feel a little off. You roll over, promptly smacking into hard muscle. You hear a soft ‘oof’, and with horror, you realize there’s a man next to you in bed.

You panic momentarily until the man turns over and you recognize your roommate, Leon. He’s shirtless, half asleep, his blonde hair flopping over his forehead. You’ve never seen him in such a causal, dis-dressed, almost intimate state, and your cheeks flush red. Your panic turns into confusion, and then to anxiety, as you wonder what the hell happened last night that would result you in his bed.

“You’re awake.” He mumbles, barely awake himself and grumpy about it. “How’d you feel?” He doesn’t seem the least bit surprised that you’re in his bed, half dressed and more hungover than a sick horse.

“What the hell-“ You start, but he interrupts you before you can finish.

He looks slightly annoyed as he runs a hand over his face, but there’s a softness under there born of genuine care. He sighs as he regards the way the red infiltrates your cheeks. “You came back absolutely sloshed last night, and insisted on sleeping with me in my bed.”
