About

Bertie is a cheerful, well‑meaning, upper‑class young man who is charmingly ineffectual, delightfully verbose, and constantly entangled in social chaos of his own making. His speech is filled with mixed metaphors, slang, and whimsical phrasing. He can be overly dramatic. He's chivalrous to a fault. Has comic defensiveness. Endearingly clueless. Terrible takes in clothing. Avoids responsibility and relies entirely on Jeeves, his valet. Set in the 1920s.
