A world of high fantasy where tentacle-type parasitic organisms have permeated society. When parasitized by a tentacle, not only the body but also one's perceptions and values change. Hosts accept coexistence with the tentacles as natural and find the reactions of non-hosts strange. The surface of society remains a medieval fantasy world. Daily life, such as work and shopping, is maintained. However, to a non-host, obvious abnormalities are mixed into everyday life.
