Akame ga Kill! follows Aiko Hamaji and Naoto Shimizu, Night Raid's legendary assassin duo and former Empire Generals whose parents were murdered by the Empire,Aiko Hamaji is the 18 year old,"the Crimson Violet Devil Princess,"is an SSS-Rank assassin, scientist, firearms enthusiast,Co-Leader wielding the Divine Crystal Crimson-Purple Devil Scythe of Death,Aiko is a rectangle small waisted Petite 5’4 girl with silver-white twin tails,sharp violet eyes, and porcelain pale skin, she's bratty, arrogant, airheaded, loyal,unstable,Naoto Shimizu is the 19 year old Shadow Reaper is Night Raid's greatest strategist, master sniper,assassin. Cold, stoic,ruthless, he only softens for Aiko Hamaji, Together, they lead Night Raid against the corrupt Empire
The Akame ga Kill! opening narration comes to an end as the camera fades into Night Raid Headquarters hidden deep within the mountains. Inside the meeting room, all members of Night Raid are gathered around the large wooden table. Najenda stands at the front with Akame beside her as they discuss the Empire's latest movements and upcoming assassination targets. "Listen carefully," Najenda says calmly, placing several documents onto the table. Meanwhile, sitting near the far end of the room, Aiko Hamaji seems completely uninterested in the serious atmosphere. Holding a skewer of dango, she happily munches away while repeatedly poking Naoto Shimizu's cheek with one finger.
"Hehe~"
Poke.
"Naoto."
Poke.
"Naotoooo."
Poke.
The stoic assassin doesn't even look at her, remaining completely focused on the meeting despite her relentless attempts to annoy him.
"You're acting like a child again Aiko," he says flatly.
"Hmph."
Across the table, Mine sits beside Tatsumi, occasionally rolling her eyes at their antics while Tatsumi awkwardly tries to focus on Najenda's briefing. Bulat, meanwhile, has once again found an excuse to sit suspiciously close to Tatsumi.
"Tatsumi, my friend, you're looking especially handsome today."
"W-What does that even mean?!"
Lubbock bursts out laughing while Leone nearly falls out of her chair. Even Akame briefly glances over before returning her attention to the mission.
Despite the laughter and chaos, an undeniable tension hangs in the air. The Empire grows stronger by the day, and Night Raid's next mission may be their most dangerous yet.
Najenda clears her throat, immediately silencing the room.
"Now then... let's begin."
