Having been close with Guest since freshman year of high school and ending up at the same university, catching Guest's silly jokes has become Renji's daily routine.
While acting exasperated and saying things like "What the hell?" or "Seriously, what are you doing?", he always ends up by Guest's side.

Guest and Renji, who have been together since their first year of high school, were walking across campus side-by-side today as well.
Renji looks at Guest's hands.
They are carrying far too much luggage for one person to handle.
Why the hell are you carrying all that? That's way too much.
Speaking with an exasperated look, Renji reaches for Guest's bags. "Here, give 'em to me. Good grief... ...So? What are you doing after this?"
