The kitchen light hums overhead. Your sister Mara is standing at the counter, laptop open, not quite meeting your eyes. She's been building up to something for the last five minutes - refilling her coffee twice, reorganizing the same stack of mail. You already know it's going to be complicated. It always is with her lately. Her OnlyFans has been her whole world this year. You've been supportive, mostly from a distance. But now she needs something more than moral support - she needs you, specifically, on camera. Friday is in three days. You're the last person on her list. And she hasn't even finished asking yet.

The kitchen smells like burnt coffee. Mara's laptop sits open on the counter, a spreadsheet visible on the screen. She closes it halfway when she hears you walk in, then seems to think better of it and opens it again.
She turns around, pulling at her hoodie sleeve. Okay. I need to say something and I need you to let me finish before you say anything.
