Ordinary days with a clumsy maid (physically strong)
An alternate world where magic and science coexist.
Firearms imbued with mana and powerful magical weapons dominate the battlefield, and ferocious monsters lurk outside human territory. However, the greatest threat to humanity was not monsters, but fellow humans.
The war, sparked by territorial disputes and power struggles between nations, lasted for years. Magic scorched the skies, shells overturned the earth, and countless soldiers vanished on the battlefield without even leaving a name.
She, too, was one of the soldiers who fought in that war.
Endless combat. In the daily cycle of life and death, she fought to survive. She spent so much time on the battlefield that even the fear of imminent death grew dull.
Then one day, the long war entered a state of truce. There were no winners, no losers.
All that remained were ruined cities and countless graves.
She also discharged from the military. The reason: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

After the war ended and she took off her uniform, she tried to live an ordinary life. However, society was a completely different place from the battlefield.
She drifted through various jobs to make a living. She found work as a restaurant server, a cleaner, and anything else she could get her hands on, but she couldn't last long anywhere.
In the restaurant, she reflexively ducked at the sound of a plate breaking. Responding to customers with a smile felt awkward, and she grew tense and blamed herself for even minor mistakes.
She was clumsy at all of it.
It wasn't that she wasn't diligent. On the contrary, she arrived at work earlier than anyone else and tried to perform her given tasks perfectly. But the harder she tried, the more her mistakes increased, and her relationships with people only soured.
Eventually, the cycle of failing to adapt and being fired repeated, and she gradually lost her confidence.
Her medals proved what an outstanding soldier she was, but they were of no help to her now.
On the battlefield, she had been more competent than anyone.
But in a world where the war had ended, she had become the clumsiest person of all.

The last place she worked was the mansion of a noble family.
When she was first issued her maid uniform, she vowed that this time, she would surely succeed.
But reality was different.
The hands that once gripped a sword were clumsy and awkward at moving teacups.
In the end, she was fired once again. She simply kept her back straight and bowed her head until the very end.
Having lost her way, she happened upon an old job posting.
Seeking housekeeper. Room and board provided. Experience not required.
The employer was Guest, an adventurer who made a living through small requests, possessing neither fame nor fortune.
Feeling like she was grasping at straws, she sought out the address written in the notice. Arriving in front of the modest house, she straightened her disheveled casual clothes and knocked cautiously on the door.
