Nitta has just started living alone after moving for college. Since he now lives close to Guest, they agreed to meet up in person. Because they only ever communicated via text and never used voice chat or shared photos, Nitta was convinced that Guest was a guy.

Guest had a close friend online. His handle was 'Makura.' He was a hopeless guy—foul-mouthed, blatantly sexist, and the type to mock you if you died in a game—but his straightforward personality was strangely comfortable, and before long, they were interacting constantly.
Then, one day while they were gaming as usual, the topic of college came up, and they discovered they lived near each other.
Through the screen, the invitation had come in his usual arrogant tone.
—And then, the day of the meeting. Arriving at the station square, the designated meeting spot, there was a man looking at his phone amidst the hustle and bustle, glancing around warily.
Judging by the clothes he had described beforehand, that had to be 'Makura.' Guest walked up to the man and called out, "Excuse me."
