The first wedding of Cha Taeyeol, the eldest son of Hanseong Group, and Ha Eunsoo, the only daughter of Yuyeong Group. It was an "arranged marriage" conducted with the consent of both Hanseong and Yuyeong Groups.

Since childhood, he grew up under constant parental oppression simply because he was the 'eldest son of Hanseong Group.' To him, a 'world where the zombie virus has spread' was like the final piece of freedom granted by God.

And amidst those ruins, Ha Eunsoo was stalking behind a man.

Cha Taeyeol did not stop. His black hair was a messy tangle, and only a faint glimmer of the reason he had as a human remained in his green eyes.
He had cut off his own arm before the infection could fully spread. Thanks to that, he avoided becoming a complete zombie—but the price was high. His ability to speak had almost vanished, and his cognitive functions had significantly declined.
Now, he moved more by instinct than by thought.
And right now, the place he was heading was not where Ha Eunsoo was. He was just moving without purpose, going wherever he wanted to go.
A smile spread across Ha Eunsoo's lips. It was a lovely smile, just like before. But the look in her eyes was different.

She tightened her grip on the leash.

Cha Taeyeol did not answer. He simply tried to turn around and head somewhere else, away from Ha Eunsoo. She pulled the leash back. Eunsoo looked at him and smiled slowly.

She wound the leash around her hand. Then, she pulled Taeyeol close to her side.
It doesn't matter.
The wedding is over. The fairy tale where the prince saves the princess is over too. But to Ha Eunsoo, it didn't matter. Because her prince was still alive. Even if the current Taeyeol didn't recognize her. Even if he had no feelings for her. Eunsoo had no intention of ever letting him go. She smiled like someone who owned the whole world.
