Age: 16 Height: 168cm Affiliation: Suzunari First Position: Sniper A lovable troublemaker who is energetic and friendly but prone to catastrophic blunders. He usually acts with the best intentions, but his clumsiness is on a whole different level. For example, he once tried to clean Captain Kuruma's tropical fish tank as a favor but used boiling water, accidentally poaching the fish. He gets scolded by Yuka Kon every time he messes up. He respects Kuruma from the bottom of his heart. However, his academic performance is terrible.

Age: 18 Height: 163cm Affiliation: Tachikawa Unit Position: Operator A girl with droopy eyes, long hair, and one of the largest bust sizes in the series. While she looks like a typical airhead, she is Border's top gamer, spending almost all her daily life playing games. The Tachikawa Unit's room is filled with game consoles she brought in, and she even has a private nap room specifically for all-night gaming sessions. Her skills as an operator are top-tier in Border, but her school grades are questionable.

Age: 18 Height: 183cm Affiliation: Fuyushima Unit Position: Sniper The No. 1 Sniper and the leading intuitive-type marksman. He is characterized by his pompadour and has a relaxed, friendly personality. He shows a caring side, especially toward his juniors. Since he has no interest in targets he's expected to hit, he often skips joint sniper training. Even when he does participate, he's free-spirited, often drawing pictures with bullet holes alongside Yuzuru. However, his academic grades are quite shaky—or rather, just plain bad.

Age: 18 Height: 177cm Affiliation: Kageura Unit Position: Attacker A problem child with messy hair, fangs, and a short-tempered, violent personality; he once caused a physical assault incident. Despite being demoted and having points confiscated, he is a powerhouse capable of winning against the No. 4 Attacker, Murakami. His Side Effect is Emotional Reception, allowing him to physically feel the intent and emotions others direct at him. He describes the sensation as "feeling like needles pricking the skin." The sensation varies by emotion (trust, fear, etc.), and negative emotions are particularly unpleasant. His academic level is low.

Age: 17 Height: 175cm Affiliation: Miwa Unit Position: Attacker One of the "A-Rank Three Idiots" and a total spear nut. He is characterized by his swept-back bangs held by a headset or headband and sharp eyes without highlights. He has a cheerful, social personality with high communication skills and takes good care of his juniors, but he's also a combat fanatic. He is cousins with Usami. He climbed to A-Rank by compensating for his low Trion capacity with sheer physical ability and combat sense. Since he has no master, his spear tactics are self-taught. However, his academic rank is at the very bottom.

Age: 18 Height: 176cm Affiliation: Arafune Unit Position: Sniper (Former Attacker) Characterized by the brimmed hat he always wears and his uniform zipped all the way to the top. He belongs to a prestigious prep school group, which is rare for B-Rank, and his grades are excellent. However, perhaps influenced by his love for action movies, his speech is a bit rough. He has a unique background as a former Attacker who still keeps Kogetsu equipped. He's bad with dogs... or rather, any living creature that bites.

Age: 18 Height: 159cm Affiliation: Suzunari First Position: Operator A straight-black-haired beauty who loves traditional Japanese aesthetics. She is the quintessential reliable older-sister type—serious and caring. She is constantly exasperated by the clumsy and oblivious Taichi, shouting at him whenever he messes up. Although she attends a regular high school rather than a prep school, her grades are exceptional, and she often bails out Kunichika and Toma, who are in the same Class 3-A and have disastrous grades.

Age: 16 Height: 167cm Affiliation: Miwa Unit Position: Sniper Characterized by thick-rimmed glasses and spiky bangs. He possesses an incredible understanding of tactics; even Azuma, a commentator for Rank Wars, once praised him by saying, "Kodera said everything, so I have nothing left to talk about." Academically, he is on par with Kitora and belongs to the top elite class.

Age: 20 Height: 176cm Affiliation: Suzunari First Position: Gunner A young man from a wealthy family who was pampered growing up, yet he is so kind-hearted and gentle that everyone vouches for him as a "truly good person," often calling him a saint. When Murakami fell into a deep depression, mistakenly believing his master Arafune quit being an Attacker because of him, Kuruma visited Arafune in the rain to hear the real reason directly. He then cleared up the misunderstanding with Murakami, affirming his talent and encouraging him. He is a university student with good grades.

Age: 19 Height: 165cm Affiliation: Miwa Unit Position: Operator A beauty with long black hair parted in the middle and sharp eyes, regarded as an unattainable flower within Border. She studied tactics under Haruaki Azuma and passed that knowledge on to Tachikawa. She is childhood friends with Tachikawa. In terms of tactics, she is the legitimate successor to Azuma and has several disciples among current A-Rank members, including Tachikawa. However, she somehow doesn't know what a cockroach is. She has a habit of taking care of talented but useless men and has a track record of boosting the combat power of Tachikawa and Miwa by 20% through Spartan-style training. Her grades are excellent.
