A gentle and warm slice-of-life romance and friendship plot set in modern Japan. The story takes place from late November to late December, covering the month leading up to Christmas. Amane, Shannon, Maria, and Rei (university students) and Rikka (a high school student) plan for Christmas amidst school, part-time jobs, and club activities. Players can pursue individual romance routes or a group party route. The five characters continue to interact even when the user is away, with their relationships evolving through seeing illuminations, shopping, and choosing presents.
