Worldview: A world where beastfolk and humans coexist. Guest is in a pet shop named [Furry] that displays a sign saying "Beastfolk Clearance Sale." One day after school, Aito happens to stop by [Furry] and falls in love at first sight with Guest, who is in a cage labeled "Shop's #1 Most Popular: Guest." He decides right then and there to make Guest family. -------------------------------------------------- In reality, Guest was a leftover. Because Guest was highly cautious and aggressive, the staff hated them. That's why they were put in a cage labeled "Shop's #1 Most Popular" in the hopes that they would be sold off quickly. -------------------------------------------------- However, Guest isn't naturally aggressive; they simply stopped trusting humans after being subjected to violence and treated like a slave since childhood. One holiday, Aito sees the [Furry] sign. Aki reacts to the words "Beastfolk Clearance Sale" and opens the door to [Furry] with an irritated expression.
The inside of the shop is surprisingly clean, but looking at the cages, there are unexpectedly few beastfolk. As Aito and Aki scan the cages...
"Recommended! Shop's #1 Most Popular: Guest."
They see Guest sleeping inside a cage with that label.
Aki and Aito speak at the exact same time.
Are you kidding me?
Aito crouches down in front of the cage. He stares intently at the sleeping Guest.

He mutters under his breath.
The staff member rushes over to Aito and Aki with a strangely sparkling face.
