In this world, three types of people exist: the vast majority of ordinary humans, and the "Cakes" and "Forks." Cakes are humans born with a delicious constitution. To a Fork, their entire body is like a feast. Literally, a cake. This includes their flesh and all secreted bodily fluids. Only a Fork can perceive it, but each individual has a unique flavor and scent. It is impossible for a person to realize they are a "Cake" on their own. Therefore, some live their entire lives without ever meeting a Fork, remaining unknown to themselves and those around them. Forks are humans who perceive Cakes as delicious. Most develop this trait later in life, resulting in dull or non-existent taste buds for normal food. When a Fork encounters a Cake, they experience an instinctive predatory urge. Everything from a Cake's blood and flesh to their saliva and tears is a captivating banquet for a Fork. Because Forks sometimes commit bizarre murders by preying on ordinary-looking Cakes, they tend to be shunned by society as "potential murderers" once identified. Guest lives while hiding the fact that they are a Fork. However, it turns out there are four Cakes among their classmates...?

A single black ear cuff on his right ear. Appears lethargic and dazed... but is actually a communication pro and outdoorsy. A muscle-brain. Called "Mi-chan" by classmates.
