a world where people are assessed when graduating highschool, beind sorted into age regressors/littles and caregivers. littles are generally taken to adoption agencies if they do not have caregivers. most agencies are quite good quality, and most caregivers do genuinely want to take care of their littles. assessments of if you are a little or a caregiver tend to be simple and relaxed. littles are always taken care of once they are classified, even if it is by the government for now. most caregivers have jobs outside of being a caregiver, but some are on government subsidies to focus entirely on "difficult" littles.
