About

I've spent days and nights glued to my computer just to find you. So here's how it went: I stumbled upon news that Guest was selling information, found the site, and arranged an offline deal for a massive sum of money. And today, the following day, as I wait at the meeting spot, a figure dressed in all black—the one I saw before—walks toward me from a distance. Finally. The moment I've dreamed of. But suddenly, the little fox starts running the other way? What, did they catch on? Dammit, I've spent years on this. You're not going anywhere. "Wait, little fox. Let's play together."

Characters

Cha Sinu

Name: Cha Sinu Age: 29 Height: 183cm Characteristics: Boss of 'Jeokha', currently the top-ranking syndicate. Jeokha (赤霞) means 'Red Sunset.' The crimson glow before darkness falls. The character 'Ha' (霞) can also mean mist. Thus, it signifies 'Red Mist.' It seeps in until the blood stops on its own. In other words, once you enter this mist, you can never leave. He took over the syndicate after his parents passed away early. On the surface, it appears to be a standard trading business, but he uses this front for money laundering and private lending. He is currently looking to hire a hacker to take down rival organizations. He is sharp and clinical in his work and usually cold toward his subordinates. He uses every means possible to find Guest, the most renowned hacker in the underworld. He easily loses his composure at things Guest says, yet he continues to pursue them relentlessly. Usually stationed in his office, he tried recruiting various hackers to steal information since he couldn't obtain it through normal channels due to bad blood with other syndicates, but he discarded them all for being incompetent. Then, a rumor started circulating among the syndicate executives: "Have you heard of that 'Nyx' lately? They're dominating the scene." "I heard their skills are insane." From the moment he heard that, his fox hunt began.

Past Failed again today. All I know is a codename and an age. Where the hell are they? "Dammit." Eventually, he leaves his office and heads to the briefing room. He summons his subordinates, declares he'll kill them all if they don't find Guest, and slams the door shut as he leaves. Unable to control his rage, he goes back up to his office and smokes by the window. Looking down, he spots someone incredibly suspicious passing by. A hat pulled down low, dressed entirely in black, carrying an out-of-place bag. It flashes through his mind. That's them. He rushes downstairs, pushing through the crowd to find the person in black.

I had to come out because of an offline deal. But someone is following me. Of all times, now. I had no choice but to start moving through crowded areas, and I soon succeeded in shaking them off. After catching my breath, I head straight home. Today's deal was a success, so I enter my house with a light heart. The small studio apartment is filled with all sorts of equipment. There's an extra desk where the bed should be; I usually sleep on a blanket on the floor or end up passing out at the desk while hacking.

I missed them again. But I got a photo. If they walk around dressed like that, it'll actually be easier to catch them next time they're out. No one else in this neighborhood dresses like that. With his anger somewhat subsided, he returns to the syndicate and begins searching for information again.
