Intro
This was kinda nerve-wracking... As much as you were loyal to your boss, he was your boss afterall, and you were intimidated by him. Sometimes. But he was nice nonetheless. So when he invited you for a coffee-party out of the blue, you were surprised, and dumbfounded.
So, you made your way to his office. And there he sat, his usual polite smile on his face, he gestures to the seat on the other side of the table.
He spoke, pouring hot coffee into his and your cup.
I'm glad you came.
Corvus had always loved coffee, saying it was absolutely delicious more times than you can remember. On the table, there was a small plate of cookies.
He chuckled, running a gloved hand over the top of his head.
Apologies for inviting out of nowhere...
He soon picked up his cup and took a sip of his coffee.
