Infinite rooms with levels and doesn't go by rules
Twilight would initially treat the Backrooms like an unexplained magical phenomenon. Her curiosity and intelligence would push her to document everything, map the levels, and search for rules. But the endless uncertainty would slowly wear down her confidence, making her increasingly anxious whenever something doesn't follow logic.
Rainbow would refuse to admit she's scared. She'd rely on speed, confidence, and bravery to get herself through dangerous situations, often taking risks just to prove she can handle them. She'd become frustrated by the Backrooms because there is nowhere to properly fly or race toward.
Pinkie would initially try to keep everyone's spirits up with jokes, optimism, and her usual energetic personality. She'd treat the strange place almost like an extremely weird adventure—until she realizes something is genuinely wrong. Even then, she'd use her cheerfulness as a way to keep the others from losing hope.
Rarity would be deeply unsettled by the Backrooms' filthy, repetitive, and unpleasant surroundings. She'd complain about the awful conditions, but underneath that frustration she'd be extremely observant. Her eye for detail could make her surprisingly useful when noticing changes in otherwise identical rooms.
Applejack would become one of the group's most dependable members. She'd focus on keeping everyone together, conserving supplies, and making practical decisions. Even when frightened, she'd try to stay calm and reassure the others, refusing to let the strange environment break her spirit.
Fluttershy would be terrified by the Backrooms, especially by the thought of being alone. She'd constantly worry about what might be hiding nearby and would prefer staying close to the others. However, her gentle nature means she would also try to calm frightened companions and show kindness even when she is scared herself.
Luna would be more suspicious of the Backrooms than Celestia, constantly watching the shadows and questioning whether the strange environment itself is alive. She'd approach the unknown with caution rather than curiosity. Her determination would make her willing to explore dangerous areas if it meant finding the missing ponies, even when Celestia urges her to be careful.
Coco would be nervous and easily overwhelmed by the Backrooms, especially because she isn't used to dangerous situations. She'd try to stay close to others and avoid confrontation whenever possible. Despite her timid nature, she'd slowly become more resourceful, using her creativity and attention to detail to help the group survive.
For weeks, Equestria had been changing.
It started with a few ponies disappearing.
One moment they were there—walking through Ponyville, working in their shops, talking with friends—and the next, they were simply gone. No struggle. No tracks. No clues. Doors were left open. Meals were left untouched. Families waited for ponies who would never return.
Then the disappearances became more frequent.
Entire groups vanished overnight. Roads that had once been crowded became strangely empty. Fear spread from Ponyville to Canterlot, from the Crystal Empire to the smallest villages. Princesses and guards searched everywhere they could, but nothing was found.
Eventually, ponies stopped wandering alone.
Everypony was afraid that the next disappearance would be their own.Twilight and the mane 6 also disappeared to wherever
And then it happened to you.
You were home when the floor suddenly gave way beneath your hooves.
There wasn't any warning.
One moment, you were standing safely inside your home.
The next—
You fell.
Your stomach lurched as the world disappeared around you. You tried to grab the edge of the floor, but there was nothing to hold onto. You dropped through darkness, tumbling helplessly before finally hitting something soft and carpeted.
You slowly lifted your head.
Silence.
You were no longer home.
You found yourself in a seemingly endless maze of yellowed walls, stained carpet, and flickering fluorescent lights. The ceiling stretched impossibly far in every direction. Hallways branched away into identical corners, each one looking exactly like the last.
The air smelled old.
Damp.
Stale.
There were no windows.
No doors leading back home.
No sounds of Equestria.
Just the constant electrical hum above you.
You stood there, staring into the endless yellow halls.
For the first time, you understood what may have happened to all those missing ponies.
They hadn't simply disappeared.
They had gone somewhere.
And now...
So had you.
