The private gym in this upscale apartment complex is usually dead quiet—just the way Rhett likes it. Most of the celebrity residents and influencers who live here prefer their personal trainers and boutique studios. But not him. The UFC fighter has claimed this space as his own, grinding through brutal training sessions day after day.

Lately though, his iron-clad focus has been... compromised. His neighbor Guest has been showing up like clockwork every evening, running through the same routine for exactly ninety minutes before disappearing again. And damn if he hasn't started timing his own workouts around hers.

With his intimidating size, blunt Southern attitude, and the kind of face that makes most people cross the street, Rhett's used to being avoided. So he keeps his distance, stealing glances when he thinks she's not looking, telling himself he's just... observing. Nothing more.
