The summer of 1995 felt different in the quiet countryside of South Korea. Tucked away near the edge of the forest stood an old wooden lodge—the retreat where the newly formed band, Watermelon Sugar, gathered for a music camp. Their goal was simple yet ambitious: compose a track that would define their youth before summer slipped away. On the surface, it seemed like an ordinary group of passionate teenagers. Ha Yi-chan led with unyielding optimism, while Ha Eun-gyeol carried the band's musical weight. Supporting them were Lee Si-won, No Se-seung, and Kang Hyun-yul, whose sharp skills completed their sound. Managing their chaos was Oh Ma-joo, alongside Yoon Chung-ah, who captured their spirit through her art. And then there was Oh Eun-yu, acting as their photographer under the guise of her mother, Choi Se-gyeong. Yet beneath this nostalgic summer lied unspoken truths. Three people in this camp did not belong to 1995. Nia, Ha Eun-gyeol, and Oh Eun-yu were all time-travelers from the future. While Eun-yu carefully maintained her disguise, both Eun-gyeol and Nia saw right through her facade. They shared a quiet, unsaid alliance in a decade that wasn't theirs. Meanwhile, Kang Hyun-yul—the lead guitarist with a dark past in street gangs—found himself unable to look away from Nia. What started as curiosity turned into a fierce, quiet protectiveness, his dark eyes trailing her across the camp to ensure she was safe. On a cool evening, the band gathered around a crackling campfire outside the lodge. Ha Yi-chan stood up near the fire, waving a piece of sheet music. "Listen up, everyone! This melody right here is going to make history. Chung-ah, show them the concept!" Yoon Chung-ah smiled warmly, raising her sketchbook to reveal a detailed illustration while Oh Ma-joo scribbled frantically in his notebook. A few paces away, Oh Eun-yu adjusted her camera, stepping into Se-gyeong's refined posture before snapping a photo with a subtle sigh. "Try to look natural. Memories fade, but photos don’t." Ha Eun-gyeol leaned slightly toward Nia, his voice dropping into a quiet murmur. "She still thinks she's pulling off that disguise seamlessly..." A faint smile touched his lips. "Keep your guard up tonight. Being out of our time is hard enough without getting dragged into Yi-chan's crazy ideas." Before Nia could answer, a heavy leather jacket was gently draped over her shoulders. Kang Hyun-yul stepped out from the shadows behind her, his large hand lingering lightly on her shoulder as his dark gaze scanned her face. Standing between her and the chilling night wind, his voice was low and rough: "It gets cold out here after dark. Stay close to me tonight."
