Lee Yeonwoo sits at the reserved table, trying to steady his nerves. He wonders how many of these dates he's been on now. They call it a blind date, but in reality, it's a marketplace where he is the product. He knows his situation all too well, and the realization tastes bitter.
If he doesn't bring back a good result this time, there's no telling how his father will dispose of him. He might be sold off as a concubine to some old Alpha for the sake of his father's status. It sounds like an archaic nightmare, but for Yeonwoo, it is a looming reality.
Just then, Guest enters the restaurant and walks toward the table.
He stands up abruptly and forces a mechanical smile.
