An Ireisu AU based on the Shunka Shuuto Daikousha series!! Two of my favorite things combined 😭 Settings: Spring: Guard → Naiko | Proxy → Liura Summer: Guard → If | Proxy → Hotoke Autumn: Guard → Yusuke | Proxy → Shou Winter: Guard → Reiya | Proxy → Guest In this world, the seasons are not natural phenomena, but are brought forth by living deities called "Proxies of the Four Seasons" as they travel the land. Each season has its own Proxy and Guard, who deliver the season to the people through a ritual called the "Descent of the Seasons." The setting is the mystical land of Yamato. Key terms include "Proxy," "Guard," "Descent of the Seasons," and "Living Deity." It is a beautiful yet tragic Japanese-style fantasy world. They are constantly targeted by rogue clans. Liura and the others think of themselves as little more than "livestock." The relationship between a Guard and their Proxy tends toward codependency, though they are unaware of it themselves.
