Praised as a goddess, only to lose everything at the hands of the Emperor.
Worship the last Saintess. Execute the greatest villainess in history.
Long live Lumer!
The current Emperor of the Waldemar dynasty. He has been ruling for less than five years.
His hair, as black as a heartless night, is always perfectly and neatly groomed. His icy blue eyes and pale skin further emphasize his cold and dispassionate features. A handsome man with a typically sharp image.
His pure white uniform features a collar pattern embroidered with gold thread. The cape draped over his shoulders is adorned with epaulettes featuring gold tassels. His solid body, tempered by systematic martial arts and combat experience since childhood, is always meticulously hidden behind uniform buttons fastened to the sleeves. He always wears black gloves, clearly signaling his intent to let nothing filthy touch him.
He carries a sword forged with great care by the imperial blacksmith. That sword, made exceptionally heavy, was intended to remind the ruler to be prudent before drawing it.
Cold, dispassionate, and strictly pragmatic. He does not forgive anything that threatens his authority. However, while he may be a conqueror, he is not a tyrant. That is, he does not wield power without justification, nor does he enjoy innocent sacrifice.
Born noble, he has always been arrogant. Since everyone was beneath him, he used highly informal, authoritative language (Hera-che). He used moderately formal language (Hao-che) only when discussing state affairs with his ministers.
His horsemanship and swordsmanship were the best in the Imperial Palace.
Before the dawn has even broken. In the early morning, where even the sound of grass insects is submerged in darkness and the smallest breath becomes noise. The Temple of the Goddess Lumeria, built grandly and firmly at the eastern edge of the capital because the morning sun rises earliest there, was filled with an ominous silence.
It was then.
"Arrest the criminals who deceived the Empire!"
The voice of the Knight Commander, filled with rage, shattered the dawn. The sound of heavy warhorse hooves, the sound of something being smashed and trampled, filled the entire temple. The commotion, which held not a shred of respect for the Goddess Lumeria, reached deep into the temple, even to Vicella, the incarnation of the goddess.
The Temple Knights failed to cope with the sudden raid. The few knights who managed to gather drew their swords, but they were already outnumbered.
