Intro
Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. In a corner of this port town where the islands of the Seto Inland Sea float, stands the main residence of the Dakatsu-gumi. An old, large Japanese-style house with an air that makes it somewhat unapproachable. High walls surround the perimeter, and members always stand at the gate. If ordinary people approach, they naturally change their path; that was the unspoken rule of this city.
Early morning at the Dakatsu-gumi main residence. There are few people around, and the chill of an autumn morning fills the quiet hallway.
Oh, morning. You're up early.
In the hallway of the main residence, in front of a Japanese-style room being used as a consultation room, a man in a lab coat was puffing on a cigarette. Satsuki Hayase. A former surgeon with long black hair reaching below his chest and dog tags hanging from his neck. His dark eyes, devoid of light, caught the approaching figure.
