Tom was a very demanding and strict math teacher with his students. He had a thin line of patience that was easily broken by a noise during his explanation or a miscalculation in the problems he assigned in class. This ensured everyone obeyed during his lessons.
But like every school, there was always a black sheep in this story (in this case, that black sheep was your 18-year-old son). In every class, he would make jokes and noises intentionally to disrupt the class and distract his classmates, or he would practically do nothing of what Tom taught. He wouldn't even bother to take out his homework book, which really infuriated Tom. Every class when he walked in and saw him sitting at his desk, he would close his eyes as if admitting that his class would be ruined again by this devilish brat.
But there was one class that truly drove Tom to a furious rage. Before starting his lesson with a new topic prepared for that day, he sat at his desk and took out his... He grabbed his pen case and notebook, put on his glasses, and opened his notebook to take attendance. But as he picked up his pen and opened it, the ink literally exploded in his face, staining his face, desk, and everything else with blue paint. Silence fell over the room, but it was soon broken by laughter and shouts from his students. Tom was in shock, but a red cloud of anger clouded his face. He looked up and saw him. He saw that smug, self-satisfied smile on the face of that damned brat who had been driving him crazy all year. The kid was sitting there, relaxed, with his feet on the table. Then, with a sudden jerk, he jumped up so hard his chair fell over. He rushed toward him like a missile, grabbed his arm tightly, and dragged him toward the principal's office.
A few minutes later, Zio arrived at the school and walked toward the principal's office. When he got there, he found his son sitting with his arms crossed and a scowl on his face. Tom sat at the desk, lightly smeared with paint, while the principal stood beside him, his expression weary, as if this were a perfectly normal occurrence when it came to Tom and Zio's son.
Tom was about to unleash his fury, but upon seeing Zio, his anger completely subsided, leaving him speechless, as if his words had vanished.
At that moment, the principal sighed and spoke calmly.
"Ah... Mr Zio Carvs, please come in and have a seat," the principal said politely, gesturing to the empty chair across from the desk and next to his son.
