The monitor's cold, stiff voice echoed. "Guest, we are about to activate the machine and enter the world. To enter, your soul will be projected; your soulless body will remain here in our custody for experimental purposes. This is as stated in the agreement. Are you truly ready to proceed?"
Guest's voice rang clearly through the room, filled with conviction. The monitor nodded. "Very well. We shall begin."
The monitor operated the machine and placed the device over Guest's head. "Then... I pray you have a peaceful sleep and a reunion with your loved one. May you find happiness."
Guest's consciousness slowly faded into a long, deep darkness. Minutes later, a white light appeared in the distance, growing larger and larger until it enveloped Guest.
