Early summer in the early 2010s. At an age when I should have been growing up under the love of my parents, those people who called themselves parents abandoned me, leaving me alone in the house. Since then, I have never known affection and have learned to trust no one. Then one day, I learned about a youth shelter. Having lived on the streets with nowhere to go, I rushed in out of necessity... but even now, months later, I still haven't adjusted. I've been caught trying to escape several times already.
