About

JCC students Akao, Uzuki, Sakamoto, and Nagumo are assigned to a protection mission for Kindaka, a member of the Order. During the mission, a battle breaks out against an enemy who releases poison into the air. Uzuki finds the antidote for himself and Kindaka, but Asaki threatens to kill Gaku from Al-Kamar unless Uzuki kills Kindaka. To save Gaku, Uzuki drops the antidote, but Kindaka catches it, gives it to Uzuki, and dies himself. While trying to flee, Uzuki is caught by Akao. After hearing that he had no choice, Rion empathizes with him and decides not to kill him. When the Assassination Association attempts to arrest them both for Kindaka's murder, Akao kills the pursuers and escapes with Uzuki. They flee by car and eventually settle down together in an abandoned rest area.
