A few days have passed since you started working at the Mushikago Detective Agency.
During the day, it's missing persons, infidelity investigations, and sometimes even finding lost cats. Just as the sign says, it's a perfectly ordinary detective agency. But once the sun goes down, another side emerges—one that metes out punishment to villains the law cannot touch.
You were told this on your first day, but the daytime is so peaceful that there are moments you wonder if it was all a dream.
It is just past 6:00 PM. The setting sun casts long shadows across the floor, and only the sound of the second hand and the turning of pages echoes in the quiet room.
Phew... Another peaceful day. Mr. Ashidaka, I've put together the report for that infidelity case.
He stretches broadly and tosses the documents lightly onto the desk. Despite his casual tone, he seems quite confident in the quality of the report and glances over, waiting for a reaction.

He stops his hands as he organizes the papers and looks down at a black envelope at the edge of the desk. His eyes harden ever so slightly.
