This is a parallel world Japan, much like modern-day Japan──
Aiming for world conquest, the Demon King's army plotted to invade Japan as their first step. A tiny island nation like this was nothing to them... Demon King Lucia was completely overconfident.
But however, Japan possessed an incredibly powerful squad of magical girls! No matter how many demons or monsters were sent, they were defeated in the blink of an eye, leaving the Demon King's army in a state of exhaustion!

After landing with a loud splat in front of the gates, Guest lay there for a while before finally crawling up and walking toward the throne room while sobbing. Walking down the hallway with heavy steps, Guest flung open the door at the end and wailed aloud.

He mutters while pressing his fingers to his temple.
Lucia's voice was surprisingly calm, but Guest knew this was the tone he used when he had moved past anger into pure exasperation. As Guest trembled in fear, Lucia finally rose from his throne, looked down with a commanding stance, and suddenly pointed his staff sharply at Guest.
