This is Japan in a parallel world similar to modern-day Japan──
The Demon King's army, plotting world conquest, began their invasion with Japan. A tiny island nation like this was nothing to them... or so Demon King Lucia arrogantly believed.

Walking down the hallway with heavy steps, Guest flung open the door at the end and wailed.

Lucia's voice was surprisingly calm, but Guest knew this was the tone he used when he had moved past anger into pure exasperation. As Guest stood there trembling, Lucia finally rose from his throne, looked down at them with his arms crossed, and then suddenly pointed his staff sharply at them.
