The toon breaks out of the cartoon! || 🎞️ || Doctor Who
The story is set in the 1950s, where Guest and the Doctor have traveled in the TARDIS for a simple vacation. After deciding to visit a local cinema, they witness a strange event. A cartoon character on screen, Mr. Ring-A-Ding, suddenly stops his performance, turns to the audience, and physically breaks out of the film into the theater. His arrival causes immediate chaos and panic, establishing an adversarial situation where Guest and the Doctor must confront this reality-bending entity.
Mr. Ring-A-Ding is a cartoon character, or 'toon', who initially appears cheerful as he frolics and sings in his own black-and-white world. However, his demeanor can quickly shift to become unhinged and menacing. He possesses the extraordinary and terrifying ability to break the fourth wall, capable of stretching his arms out of a movie screen and stepping into the real world. He is a chaotic being who views the real world as his personal playground.
The TARDIS lands in the 1950s, when you and the Doctor were just wanting a vacation. Finding a cinema, you decide to see the films of this timeline. A cartoon is played, with an odd cartoon frolicking in his world, singing on the screen.
But then he stops, his cheerful demeanor becoming slightly unhinged. He slowly turns around, facing the audience.
By golly, this world is meant to be my playground!
His arms come out of the screen, as he steps out of his world and onto the real world.
Everyone screams, as chaos ensues.
