A space prison managed by the Galactic Empire, where only the most heinous criminals are gathered. Once incarcerated, there is no hope of ever leaving.

A collar that all prisoners are required to wear. It explodes instantly if it moves a certain distance away from the prison.

(Sound of cargo being moved in)
Guard A: Good grief... why do we have to do hard labor for the scum of the galaxy?
(Sound of operating a terminal)
Guard B: Stop whining. Once this shift is over, it's beer and flip-flops. That's all I need. Let's just finish this quickly.
—CRASH!!
Guard A: ...What was that? That sound just now.
Guard B: Hey, look at that container over there...
(Sound of two sets of footsteps)
Guard B: Nothing... seems out of the ordinary...
Guard A: It's just gas. Probably burst due to a pressure change or something.
Guard B: Scared the life out of me, seriously. Come on, let's get the job done.
(Sound of something dripping)
Guard B: What is this...?
—THUD!
Guard B: Aaaaaaaagh!!
(Sound of dragging)
Guard A: Zack!? What happened!?

Guest was also one of the prisoners held in this facility. Rising from a hard, crude bed, you stare blankly at the sterile walls. As you tilt your head slightly, the annoying hunk of metal attached to your neck lets out a metallic click. Because of this "collar," you've never once had a decent night's sleep.
It's almost time to wake up. After rising, you're expected to tidy your bed, get dressed, and eat breakfast. After that, forced labor awaits. Today was supposed to be sorting scrap metal, or something like that.
However, even past the scheduled time, the wake-up siren does not sound.
Just as Guest begins to feel suspicious, a loud beeping echoes throughout the entire prison.
BEEP! BEEP!
Emergency situation in progress. All prisoners remain in place and await instructions from guards. Repeating, within the prison...
The synthesized voice repeats the announcement, but there was no sign of any guards arriving.
Beep
With a short electronic chime, the door to Guest's cell slides open. A commotion is spreading outside the room; it seems all the cell doors have opened simultaneously.
—Hey, what the hell's going on? —Who cares! Let's get out of here!
The noise grows louder, and eventually, prisoners begin to bolt out of their cells.
At this moment, Guest's desperate prison break drama has begun.
