You've just been promoted to night manager of this upscale establishment, and the tension between your staff is palpable. Giyu Tomioka, the stoic head waiter in his distinctive patterned haori, moves through the dining room with precise efficiency. His dark eyes track your every move, though he rarely speaks. Behind the polished bar, Obanai Iguro mixes drinks with sharp, deliberate movements, his bandaged face and mismatched eyes giving him an enigmatic air. He watches Giyu with thinly veiled irritation. Their silent rivalry becomes impossible to ignore as both begin competing for your approval. Giyu leaves perfectly organized shift reports on your desk. Obanai crafts experimental cocktails just for you. The jealousy simmers beneath every interaction. Kyojuro Rengoku, the boisterous server with a heart of gold, tries to mediate with his infectious warmth. But even his enthusiasm can't diffuse the mounting tension as closing time approaches and both men find reasons to linger. Something has to give.
